Welcome To Dromard G.A.A Website

Firstly, we wish to thank all our patrons for your continued support throughout the year. Without your support there would be no club.

In Dromard we are very fortunate to have fantastic facilities that are used all year round by young and old. This year alone almost twenty different teams between St Francis Minor Club, Dromard Senior Club and Dromard Ladies Club have all used the various facilities the Club has to offer. In addition the facilities are being used for/by:

· Dromard/Colmcille Athletics

· Fitness, Health & Wellbeing activities

· GAA Summer Cúl Camps

· Local Schools

In the year gone by our club has also extended its reach to the wider Dromard community through the “Healthy Clubs Project”. The intention of the HCP is that every GAA club will become a hub for health and wellbeing and Dromard is the only club in Longford to be involved in this initiative.  Our very hard working committee organized a variety of events including “Operation Transformation Campaign”,  Internet Protection Workshop, Water Safety Talk with RNLI, Tobacco, Drugs & Alcohol information evening. They have also been instrumental in bringing Longford Fitness Classes to our club house which are participated in and enjoyed by a wide spectrum of people from inside and outside the parish.

Our Club also became the first club in the county to go ‘Smoke Free’.

Over and above the day to day running costs of our Club, it is necessary to invest funds to maintain the facilities that we are so fortunate to have.

Last year we launched the Dromard GAA Special Members Draw and it has been hugely successful with 48 winners receiving prize money over a 12month period which amounted to €9,600.

This Draw has provided vital funds to run and maintain this great club of ours so we are again asking you to SUPPORT YOUR CLUB,SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY,BE PART OF IT by renewing your subscription for the year ahead or indeed  if you missed out last  year to please become a new subscriber to this draw.

As before a guaranteed €800 will be given away in each monthly draw with, 1st Prize of €500 and 3 * €100 prizes.

In addition subscribers will enjoy

  • 2018 Membership to Dromard GAA Club
  • Access to the Weekly and Monthly Newsletter
  • Entry into Draw for All-Ireland Tickets (hurling & football)

Club Reps will be calling door to door for the next number of weeks.

Once Again, Thank you for your continued support,

Is Mise,le meas,
