Under 21 Championship: Our under 21 amalgamation team of Dromard and Fr Manning Gaels travelled to McGann Park Kenagh on Friday night last to play their first championship game against a strong Kenagh/Moydow outfit. Conditions were prefect for playing under the flood lights and it turned out to be a ding dong battle with both teams ending up a level at half time and full time. Our team had a number of opportunities to close the game out but it was not to be on this occasion. The draw marked a positive start for this amalgamation in their first outing together. The next game for the team is against Longford Slashers next Sunday at 2pm in Monaduff. Please support the players in this important fixture. The team verusu Kenagh/Moydow lined out as follows: Oisin Hourcan, Nigel Kiernan, Leon McKeon, Micheal Kiernan, Garry Connell, Danny McGee, Dean Cosgrove, Anto Keane, Ross McNerney, Emmet Noonan, Niall McManus, Peadar Kiernan, Mark Hughes, Martin Cassidy.

U16 Final Match Report: Our u16 amalgamation were narrowly defeated by a strong Northern Gaels team in the shield final on Saturday 26th September. A very spirited display saw Na Naomh (St. Francis/St. Vincent's) score six goals in total. Cian Cassidy showed his excellent ability to find the net with a number of ruthless finishes, which came about through the hard work of his teammates further out the field. However it was not to be as Northern Gaels claimed the title on their home pitch. They remained calm throughout and took their chances under pressure, proving what a talented bunch of footballers they are. Final score on the day read Na Naomh 6-4 Northern Gaels 2-20. We would like to congratulate Northern Gaels on their victory and thank them for the very sporting manner in which the game was played throughout.
